Kiatipong Ariyapruchya is currently Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, DC. His research focuses on household financial access, firm productivity, and market and networks. Prior to joining the IMF, he served as Senior Economist at the Bank of Thailand where he was engaged in research used in the design of Thailand's Financial Master Plan. He also served on the committees for the Farmers' Debt Relief and Rehabilitation Fund, Asset Collateralization for Poverty Reduction and the Thailand-World Bank Productivity Project. He has lectured at various universities such as Chulalongkorn University, Columbia University and Harvard University. He holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and a PhD in Economics from Columbia University.
