Mr. Jacob Yaron worked for 23
years for the World Bank and in 1987 was promoted
to senior adviser for rural finance.
He
designed and provided technical assistance to staff
of the World Bank, Governments and senior officials
of development finance institutions in more than
25 countries.
He
published on subjects of rural finance, inflation
accounting, Microfinance, development finance institutions
and subsidy dependence.
He
has recently worked on developing an output index
(OI) that would complement the Subsidy dependence
index (SDI) in purpose of providing a more meaningful
evaluation of DFIs and MFIs operations.
