Mr. Pelekamoyo currently serves as the Regional Chairman for Opportunity International, overseeing microfinance banks in Mozambique, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda and Malawi. He previously worked with the Malawi Central Bank for 25 years and for the last five of those years he served as its Governor. While at the Bank of Malawi, he also worked as as CEO and Chairman of Air Malawi.
